With a combination of social unrest, the global pandemic, academic and social pressures, and thinking about the future, the stress of it all can be overwhelming. This course is designed to help share tools on how to manage stress and navigate the pressures that face teens at this most crucial time of life, through yoga classes and guidance on managing mental health.
面對社會動盪、全球性流行病、學業,以及為未來思索都能造成巨大的的壓力。本課程旨在以瑜伽練習和管理心理壓力的健康輔導,教育青少年如何應對在關鍵時面臨的壓力。
This programme was developed in partnership with OCD Anxiety Support Hong Kong, clinical psychologist Dr. Edwin Yau, and yoga therapist Hersha Chellaram, and focuses on sharing tools to enhance physical, emotional and mental wellbeing, and empowers teens to face personal challenges and self-limiting beliefs, and express themselves in a non-judgemental space.
本計劃原意是與 OCD Anxiety Support Hong Kong, OCD Anxiety Support Hong Kong、臨床心理學家 Dr Edwin Yau、和瑜伽治療師夏喜善一起專注於分享提升體能,情緒和心理健康的工具。使青少年有能力面對個人挑戰,超越自我限制的信念,能在非判斷性的空間中表達自己。

YAMA Foundation's mission is to make yoga, art, and meditation accessible to Hong Kong's most vulnerable communities. We believe that every person has the fundamental right to feel good in their bodies, feel peaceful in their minds, live colourful lives, and be part of a caring community.
Our online programmes are developed alongside Hong Kong experts in accessible wellbeing, mental health support, and yoga and expressive arts therapies to provide compelling and relevant content.
Our team of instructors have knowledge and experience in teaching programs that are trauma-aware, culturally sensitive and inclusive of all ages and abilities.
